What I would say is it is not a friendly.
Both teams will play at 100%. This allows players of both teams to get to full fitness for next week. That is what is important, an advantage other teams do not have.

The trophy bit is irrelevant.

That's the town centre pubs but there's also a few pubs and a social club for Blues as well, in Aylestone. Hosted and organised by East Midlands CSA. So far, nearly 2,000 Blues booked in.

One thing is for certain Clubshop will play his strongest side possible as he did in the F.A. Cup semi-final because he knows the only chance he has of beating us will be if Pep as expected will play a team dictated by his medical/coaching staff , Foden, Gundo , Laporte ,Stones , Haaland , Dias will probably not start which is probably 50% of our strongest starting line up.
The Dippers inferiority complex is obvious and any chance of winning a game against us even if we played the U-23 team would be heralded as the result of the season by the deluded Dipper plastic fans. It's the hope that will kill them.

You do get the feeling Herr Shipman would go full strength against our ladies team in a behind closed doors friendly

Not going this one went semis against these fuckers and put me off going to matches against them again unless at our place
My younger brother (15year old )when walking down Wembley way got spat at and threatened by the cunts not knowing he was with me and two other brothers and my old fella ,so I managed to get hold of the fucker as he tried coming towards him again and give him few digs and subsequently got fucking nicked oh why they got away Scot free because believe it or not copper didn’t see or hear them threatening r kid ,spending hours in cell missing game and means of getting back plus having to go back weeks later to court costing me £1200 for solicitors, fines etc so will be supporting boys from pub in Denton

Can't be scared of injuries first team players need getting upto speed so need minutes. Are the dippers that daft to try and go kicking our players? If they do there is nothing stopping us doing the same take out salah and vvd and there season is over we can cope we always do. Games between the 2 teams have not been dirty in recent years and I don't expect this to be.

We lost Sane for a big part of his last season with us following injury against these at the Charity shield.
Their mentality will be to go in hard because it's a chance to impact our season before it starts. Diminish your opponent's strength before the season starts, that will be the subplot from Heir klippity.

I dislike their club as much as anyone, in particular for their actions against us in recent times, but this time it just means nothing to me personally
