Maybe we should just give JWE a chance?
Wanting your team to address issues or do better given the standards there are currently isn't a bad thing at all, it's lazy to just bundle everyone saying something needs addressing into moaning or spoilt. If this was a case for a position we were already well equipped in, I'd hear that, but we've now sold another option in Zinchenko who could play there and haven't had an out and out left back since 2017. Clearly not just moaning or being spoilt. Some love a sulk, exact same who wrote our team off an hour before the Villa game.
Only problem with the success at City now is the spoilt twats it attracts.
Obviously he will get a chance but if you think he's ready for first team football week in week out it's a bit much to expect.Maybe we should just give JWE a chance?

We’ve already been linked with Sosa and Grimaldo tbf. Presumably we’ve not moved for anyone else so far as the deal for Cucurella, our number one target, isn’t dead yet.Just don't understand why City are so fixated on just one name in Cucurella, there's plenty fullbacks on market that fit our profile, why not just quickly sort a deal for them?

Ait-Nouri at Wolves (happens to be a Jorge Mendes client too!), Walker-Peters at Southampton, can play left or right, Joachim Maehle from Atalanta, primarily a left back but can also play on the right. Then the names we've been already linked with, David Raum, Borna Sosa, Alex Grimaldo (last preference), we were even looking at Tagliafico from Ajax before last window shut, the fullback market isn't short at all. What is our profile?
I would say premier league proven, young, good at attacking and defending
I’m pretty sure they want cucurella because he is the top target.
Who are the plants of other options then?
He wouldn't be playing week in week out though. Cancelo would be 1st choice at LB.Obviously he will get a chance but if you think he's ready for first team football week in week out it's a bit much to expect.
Is he able to play 30 games across the season though? Remains to be seen. Let's see. If Pep feels it's the case we'll have to take his word.He wouldn't be playing week in week out though. Cancelo would be 1st choice at LB.
My opinion on this is that we target players with particular personality traits as much as football skills. So it's not easy then to have many alternatives.Just don't understand why City are so fixated on just one name in Cucurella, there's plenty fullbacks on market that fit our profile, why not just quickly sort a deal for them?
Depends who you’re talking about, those who mention what you have, or those that start hammering the club and Txiki etc and act like the world is ending.Wanting your team to address issues or do better given the standards there are currently isn't a bad thing at all, it's lazy to just bundle everyone saying something needs addressing into moaning or spoilt. The fact you state cancelo played more than ederson last season surely shows how desperate we are for another full back? He clearly burnt out towards the end of last season it’s hardly surprising.Cancelo last year played more minutes than Ederson.. Plus we have Kyle..
When you have 4 high quality centre backs, they need to be used elsewhere, cause they need time..
So Stones has played well as RB and Ake as LB.. There is Kalvin Phillips - who Pep tried as CB and I guess like Fernandinho he can play RB as well.
JWE also a good talent for future.. You can give him cup games, maybe 1-2 less important CL games
So there are a lot of options..
Right now main issue is -> Bernardo stays or not.. If he goes we might need +1 player, winger or midfielder, it depends how Bernardo will be replaced.. If either Phil or Jack is moved to midfield, then you need winger, otherwise you need direct replacement
If Bernardo stays, we are fully ready..
2 full backs and cover from elsewhere…Laporte will already miss most of August…is not ready to go in my opinion.Cancelo last year played more minutes than Ederson.. Plus we have Kyle..
