The reports yesterday said we were getting ready to move on.We must move on if we can't agree a fee, we have a serious weakness at FB, it needs sorting.
If brighton still don’t change their stance then we would move on

We clearly are not moving on now he has asked for a move, this will be going through, just time and who blinks first in terms of value. The reports yesterday said we were getting ready to move on.

Sky would probably pay the 10M difference to make it happenImagine if it was the Dippers trying to buy Cucurella, I suspect there would be certain sections of the media criticising Brighton for denying a player a dream move.
Yes but yesterday the player hadn`t put in a transfer request. The reports yesterday said we were getting ready to move on.

Didn’t change Brighton’s valuation, so not really
Yes i think the South American market at the moment. You will replace him with the next upcoming player no doubt. Brighton seem to have their finger on the pulse when it comes to recruiting mate.
Well someone’s ego would be shattered then. I personally think nothing would happen. We clearly are not moving on now he has asked for a move, this will be going through, just time and who blinks first in terms of value.
Yes but his farewell wrist watch was worth £10M. ;)Ah, but Dinho would have made up the shortfall on his first trip to Abu Dhabi via a recently-opened bank account at an unnamed bank in his name.
(According to the media and RAWK)
Simples.
A player in this day and age asking for a move is serious, the guy won't play for Brighton againWell someone’s ego would be shattered then. I personally think nothing would happen.
That was on his left wrist, the one on the right.......Yes but his farewell wrist watch was worth £10M. ;)
I had a venture over to the Brighton forum to see their take on the transfer request and the first thing I see is somebody comparing keeping onto Dale Stephens (no idea who he was linked to) after a transfer request to Cucurella trying to force a move to the Champions from 4 of the last 5 seasons.
I don't want to come across as that type of fan but surely they see that's not a valid connection. Even ignoring the level of the transfer - the figures involved make it even more of a laughable comparison.
I think they will be alright as kabore and Rico are rbs I could see walker leaving in 2 years time and that hopefully when Rico will step upI think the deal will get done now that he has put in a request question is what happens to Kabore JWE and Rico when he signs ?
I thought you were signing raggy Brandon?Yes i think the South American market at the moment.
Like I said either brightons or citys ego would be shattered.A player in this day and age asking for a move is serious, the guy won't play for Brighton again
No ego's shattered, it's called negotiation, Brighton will get bag fulls of cash, they will make a huge profit, even after signing a replacement.Like I said either brightons or citys ego would be shattered.
Many players don’t ask for transfers because it doesn’t mean much. He is allowed to leave now but city don’t want to meet brightons price.
I expect your last line is tongue in cheek, but that is what rags used to say in the 90s when they went for any player in a team below them the bigger teams should be able to take lesser teams talent at a whim.Is it any worse than an agent briefing the club and media that the player wants to leave.
Certainly better than players making excuses why they are not in training or going on strike.
I agree that they should have something in the contract for when the best team in all the land come calling.
I can think back to 1967 when a certain Francis Lee not only put in a transfer request, and when rejected, he actually went on strike and refused to train or play.A player in this day and age asking for a move is serious, the guy won't play for Brighton again
