Disappointing performance. Mahrez and Grealish both very poor . Cancelo giving acres to his man . Rodri slow , Kdb passing awful . Poor Haaland left horribly isolated was the worst part of that. Walker caught ball watching . A lot for Pep to sort out before West Ham.

Agree - They wanted it more and were further down the road to fitness. I don't even mind the Haaland miss - better to get them out of the way in this than when it really matters. My only small concern is Ake - there were gaping holes down the middle every time they attacked - you wouldn't see that with John or Laporte in there. He looked like a kid playing his first games. I also hope Mahrez, Grealish and Bernardo return to form soon.

They will dine out on this but like last year it doesn't mean a thing - they can check back with us in three months. That said I hate losing to them and the way they get away with harassing officials and throwing flares onto the playing surface after the directive was not to do that will not even highlighted by their darling media. Only other gripe is there was not one replay of Matic handball but of course ref Henderson waved it away.

Onto next week, they look hurt which is a good thing.

We lost the charity season the Agueroooo season and last season and looked what happened.

Our opponents were not the team you wish to face if your not up to their fitness levels yet

The only irritant is that we have lost to the media darlings (which means a 24 sports media boycott).

Not too bothered about Haalands miss. It happens. The more concern is whether the likes of Grealish and Mahrez who weren’t great at the end of last season are going to push on.

But this is the season grealish is gonna be amazing die to his settling in period and the fact he squared the ball to haaland against Bayern

Well, I wouldn't say that. We had to pass 100 times to get near their goal. They ran over us with 4 passes. No need to sugarcoat it! We've got to pull ourselves together! Especially Mahrez and Grealish! They just played very passively, didn't take any risks, which is very sad.

I think we are 2 to 3 games down on the rest fitness wise, and it showed with everything, even our passing was shocking and first touch even worst, am at a point now to say enough is enough and just go and get a left back and even if It's £50million, just go and get him and get the balance right down the left,

also, I don't judge anybody from today's game and the truth is clear we were not match fit and ready and got what we deserved in getting beat
