In terms of pre-season pep let the players have an extra week off and the first pre-season game was a mix of youth before the Munich game that was a joke with the players coming off and playing 40 each half with thunderstorms and rain,

I think the first team needs 3 or 4 pre-seasons game to get match fit and get players into the system
don't really care about the game today and win or lose, it's a friendly and nobody should take credit if you win the shield

Grealish and Mahrez are going to have to go up several levels to get ahead of Foden and Alvarez as the wing options. They’ve got pace, work rate and ambition.

Grealish might do it, second season syndrome etc and I think he showed some glimpses in the other 2 preseason games.

Riyad has been producing goods for quite a few seasons now and I am not worried about him. Jack on the other side, if Pep doesn't make some radical changes to his tactics, o boy, we are going to have some real problems there. He's been played too wide and too forward when receiving a ball, the very moment he controls it there are two opposition players on him.
