Pure nonsense.

He may be relatively short but his physique his fine.I suspect he is about 11 stone,probably a stone more than both Bernardo and Mahrez.

As for the EDS comment....he was levels above the kids he was playing against,that standard of football will only serve to demotivate him.

He wont get game time here IMO,which only leaves two other sensible option.

That is such a gamble. We’re so thin in the squad as it is, in a season that has a WC break, 5 subs permitted and we didn’t think it was for the best to keep him and/or Delap around?! Madness. We’re 1 or 2 injuries away from proper crisis situation with our squad depth.

I feel like he would be better of as 6th choice midfielder. But, maybe he’s been pushing for this.

I think he can only play in the 2 positions KDB Brenardo, Gundogan occupy and I’d expect Foden or Grealish maybe even Phillips to be played there before Mcatee so no I think he needs games.

Fair enough, but I really dislike these kind of loans. I don’t trust the blades to ”nurture” him like we would.

He is miles better than anyone they have.
Pretty sure there will be incentives and penalties built in re loan fee/wages

I hope he gets the gametime he needs then and become a squad player for us next season.
