Gundo deserves to play. Top player, top professional. No worries at all on that front. Bernardo is top but not irreplaceable. If his head is elsewhere right now then Pep is right not to pick him.

Happy enough with that team, but I don't know why Ake is playing over Stones (when the other two who couldn't go on pre-season are starting).

Ake and Cancelo on the left don't fill me with confidence.

Knew Phil would start, and I'm glad Pep has given Jack the nod over Riyad. His performances in pre-season deserve it.

That team selection isn’t great. Don’t like the Dias-Ake partnership, they can’t progress the ball forwards. Cancelo and Grealish on the left doesn’t work as nobody wants to go outside. Then inverted on the right too. Hopefully it plays better in real life than on paper because on paper is lacks balance.
