What Macheda never won it! TragicIt still amazes me how only one Italian player has won a Premier league?
Why always him?
I’d take that, a snip at €25m and fills a gap, happy days get it done.
Fifa is child's play. Try transfers on football manager. They can be a real ball ache at times. Nobody meets my player valuations and every club wants more £for average players. Similar to City irl.I don’t understand some people, the only RB/LB i would have paid close to 70 million euros is Phillip Lahm, and prime Dani Alves.
Some of you need to wake up, the guy is not worth that much. He has no credentials, and no guarantee of success. Get over it. If we don’t get a full back, we don’t. I am still fucking waiting on a trophy-less season for us and this squad. And i HARDLY, doubt this will be the one. If you want transfers done in 5 minutes, go play Career Mode on FIFA.
Ah, Serie A, the number four league in Europe. Five must be where the Farmer's Leagues begin then. As there were arguments over Ligue 1 being a Farmer's League earlier today.Player of the season for Milan by far. I’d be wetter than October in Manchester if we’d sign him. A much stronger, younger version of Leroy, used to low block teams, from a tough league. Fuck yes!
Well you clearly need to phrase things differently then.Yes, that was my conclusion on our current transfer dealings if we would end up selling Bernardo. Not sure how saying it would be bad if we sell Bernardo is slating the club, thats basically just stating the obvious. Saying the opposite, that it would be good if the club sell Bernardo with a week or two before the window closes, would be insanity.
Thanks for putting me in my place. I will learn from this lesson and also never complain about a professional football player playing bad ever again, since I can only complain if I'm better than than him at playing football. Must send my apologies to Savic, used to give him criticism all the time when he played here, didnt realize I was only allowed to say something if I'm better than him. Thanks again, you learn something every day.
The reasons I was "moaning" about the potential of Bernardo leaving was clearly stated in the original post. Try reading it again or perhaps I could explain it using a few more simple words, like I would to a 5 year old, if that post was too advanced for you to understand. Let me know if thats the case and I will gladly help you. The reason I'm "continually moaning" about it is because I get a lot of replies from people asking questions. If I'll get asked a question, I will most likely answer it, assuming its about the topic that was discussed. Why are you continually moaning about Bernardo leaving when
A. you don’t know if he is
B. If he is, you don’t know how much we’re getting for him
C. You don’t know if the club have a replacement lined up
Moan all you like about things that the club have done that you don’t like but FFS don’t criticise the club for things you are worried they might do - which they haven’t yet done.
Lukaku, pogba, higuain, shevchenko, veron, Anderson, Mario, cuadrado, torreira, kean, Emerson, amad, under, cutrone, zappacosta, lemina....Leao does not fit into any of this. Pace is no issue as he would be one of the fastest players in the Prem. At 22 he's certainly not looking to extend his career. Can you give me some of the flops you're referring to? Salah came from Roma to Liverpool. Henry came to Arsenal from Juventus. I'm sure there are flops, but there are also some big successes. IMO, Leao would be one of those.
I'm not sure Lukaku really counts as a player who already had extensive PL experience and some success before even going to Italy. Anderson was from Portugal so no idea why he's included. Lemina was good for Southampton.Lukaku, pogba, higuain, shevchenko, veron, Anderson, Mario, cuadrado, torreira, kean, Emerson, amad, under, cutrone, zappacosta, lemina....
The list could go on and on kolarov, cancelo and super Mario are the only decent players we have gotten from Italy to my knowledge could be wrong, but bianchi, bonijov, nastasic, jovetic, maicon, dado havnt been great. Not saying you can't get good players from that league simply in my opinion it's a risk.
How about Vialli, Zola, Van Der Sar, Desailly, Bergkamp, DeMatteo, and Coutinho to add to the ones I already mentioned? I can't give you Lukaku or Pogba. They were in Prem first. Regardless, I'd take Leao in a heartbeat, over Sane, Gnabry, Antony, Saka, Diaz, and Dembele. JMO. Its not every day Pep compare's someone to a young Thierry Henry.Lukaku, pogba, higuain, shevchenko, veron, Anderson, Mario, cuadrado, torreira, kean, Emerson, amad, under, cutrone, zappacosta, lemina....

Lukaku and pogba both looked the business in Italy and once they returned they looked awful that's why I included them. If the board signing him I will back him 100% I personally worry about how players will adjust to the Premier league when coming from Italy. How about Vialli, Zola, Van Der Sar, Desailly, Bergkamp, DeMatteo, and Coutinho to add to the ones I already mentioned? Brilliant pundit, very knowledge and articulate and a step up from Micah.Shame there aren’t more people like Nedum doing punditry…concise, eloquent and well thought out views. Always considers all angles. They don’t even have to be City fans. They just need to be objective and give insights the way Nedum does but it’s all nonsense for the most part from so called pundits. Hence why I usually don’t watch anything outside of football or highlights.
This was enjoyable.
Both lukaku and pogba looked incredible in the Italian league compared to the Premier league. Feilpe Anderson. Lemina was good initially but soon lost his spot in the first team loaned out and sold for around a quarter of what was paid. I'm not saying there hasnt been successes simply think alot of players struggle to adjust. And history backs that up.I'm not sure Lukaku really counts as a player who already had extensive PL experience and some success before even going to Italy. Anderson was from Portugal so no idea why he's included. Lemina was good for Southampton.
Thierry Henry, Gianfranco Zola, Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Vieira (twice), Roberto Mancini (twice), Mo Salah, Marcel Desailly, Edwin van der Sar, Philippe Coutinho, Cristiano Ronaldo, Alisson, Jorginho, Kalidou Koulibaly, Antonio Rüdiger, Dejan Kulusevski, Gianluca Vialli and Attilio Lombardo all joined the Premier League from Serie A.
West ham supposedly leading race for Sosa.
Agreed 100% We'd be able to finally resolve a 6 year problem position...I think he would be a n excellent signing for ourselves alongside gomez and all in go makes us alot more complete as a squad and would allow cancelo to go to right back as well at times.
