Kyle is by far the better RB.
I disagree. I think they both have advantages and disadvantages. Overall, I lean towards Cancelo offering more. Because he creates better, is better with possession keeping, and he has fewer personal errors. Kyle is faster, a better individual defender, and can make up for errors with speed.

They are both slightly above average team defenders. They both sometimes keep opposing players onside. And they both tend to lose track of their man in the box. On breaks and crosses from the opposing wing.

So it's a matter of taste. And in my view the increased ball control and how harder it is to dispossess us with Cancelo, gives the edge to Cancelo for me.

He had a shaky start at West Ham but grew into the game well. It's funny that he's quite similar to Walker in that he just totally switches off in games and plays risky passes that get intercepted. I guess like Walker the good parts outweigh the bad.

By the end of the game he was majestic, imo.
He was taking the piss out the whu forwards 2nd half and made the game look so easy.I 'll never tire of watching the faints dummies and perfectly timed challenges. His skill on the ball is amazing.
A truly world class player and a joy to watch.

Yes he is, it's just bizarre he has those lapses like Walker at times.

Such a performer...

He runs the show...

Players like Joao, make you to fall in love with Football..

Just Fantastic <33333
Honestly just ridiculous for me today.

KdB and Ake possibly MotM ahead of him, but Cancelo when he's on it, is just untouchable.

Excellent today but he still worries me when he leaves his position. Lot of pressure on ake to cover him

It's so overstated that he can't defend, he has strengths and weaknesses just like all defenders.

Walker for example has incredible recovery pace but he also occasionally commits stupid fouls in the box, makes hospital passes and is quite often the one who plays everyone onside due to a lapse in concentration.

Defensively, he could improve positionally but he's excellent at making interceptions that frequently start attacks. If you want to see what someone who can't defend really looks like watch Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Cancelo has an incredibly high level of technically ability which allows us to play out of the press with ease and he has the dribbling ability to drive us forward and take us from a defensive position on the pitch to an attacking position.

He also has the versatility to play as a traditional or inverted full-back which means we can deploy him essentially as a winger or creative midfielder, both of which he excels at. The guy is literally made to play for Guardiola.

I'll say it again but he was used as a winger before and with good results, he has a mean cross from the right wing. Kinda surprised pep never used him there

Cancelo is like a test whether you get Pep's concept of defending.

Last season, City had the best defence in Europe in terms of conceded chances per 90 minutes. Yet two of the most criticised players on here were Cancelo and Laporte. They played the most minutes from all City players, but some on here thought that City had the best defence in spite of them...

Cancelo's one of the best players in the league. He'll leave City as one of the legendary full backs in PL history.

I think he is the most under rated player in the team.
I think it was against West Ham when he skinned someone and I turned to my mate and said our left back is better than any of West Ham's forward players! Guy is so talented, great on the ball and a real key to the way we play. I wish he could tackle a little better but we are truly blessed to have him.
