Sorry, you needed to read an article to know that Ferguson is a foul mouthed bully?
You’ve got to choose your battles, and Ferguson chose….poorly!
I’m both.
Talking of which, why does the dictionary define masturbation as ’self abuse’? Must be Victorian sensibility. I never abuse myself but……And ‘self’ is not necessarily accurate. Time the definition was changed to ‘manual sex’!
I rarely hear people talking casually about Sir David Attenborough or Dame JudiFrenchDench but the amount of football fans (not just the reds) refer to him by his title is just weird.
He gets an incredible amount of respect for someone who is, essentially, a ****.
Onan “was afraid and spilled his seed”. That is he was guilty of pulling out. Not sure how the other meaning came about, presumably wasting seed by any method, because we know that “every sperm is sacred.”Yes, that term (which I was obviously using tongue in cheek) is probably first used in the Victorian period. Of course, it's defined as a sin — the sin of Onan — in the Old Testament. From which the sin of “onanism”. So it goes back a long way.
Now. How can I somehow bring this post which has strayed off topic back to the subject of Ferguson?

Actually he may secretly be in a way enjoying the comparison between his reign and current chaos. The living personification of hubris. Sitting there every week watching everything he created being razed to the ground, due in no small part to his own greed and vanity. Marvellous stuff, long may it continue
Pep would’ve tied the fucker in knots had they been in the Premier League at the same time.Ferguson was a classic bully. While we were no threat he lorded it strutting about. As soon as we could compete he fucked off sharpish.
Because he spoke his mind and told it how it was.Brian Clough was the greatest end off, what he did with Derby & Forest will never be equalled. How he never got the England job is a mystery.
Imagine how he would have coped with the snowflakes and the woke brigade? Better still, I would have loved to have heard his comments on the situation at the swamp with the ladyboy.Because he spoke his mind and told it how it was.
He was nobody’s "Yes" man; something that the FA couldn’t contemplated in an employee, especially one as high-profile as the England manager.
I am old enough to remember Mercer, Busby and Shankley. These guys came over as gentlemen in public but they were all hard men (even Uncle Joe) and would stand absolutely no messing from any player. Where they differed from the GPC was that they were sportsmen. They liked to win, but if their team got stuffed they would admit the other team were better on the day. They definitely did not slag off and take the piss out of other teams. They gave respect and consequently were respected.
The GPC will never be respected by me as he was and is a cnut. It's as simple as that. I don't give a shite what he achieved, he's not a quarter of the men Mercer, Busby or Shankley were.

Guardiola will match him for league titles in a third of the time. Think he's already caught him on domestic cups.Great manager. Nowhere near the GPC though. As said before, Ferguson not only obliterates every English manager (Clough included) on top flight and European trophies, he also broke the Celtic /Rangers duopoly and that shows he was an absolutely top drawer manager. He’s a very very strong claim for greatest ever. Unless there is someone out there who has a comparable 2 team (or more haul).
He also never wore a waist coat, all down to appearance my friend ;-)Because he spoke his mind and told it how it was.
