Understand what you mean but if the rags had done the same with pisscan they might not have been in this mess now.It really does make me laugh when they go on about Shankly. They actually banned him from Anfield and the training ground after he retired. He then spent most of his time at Everton. They even banned the sale of his autobiography from the club shop! The directors shunned and ignored him. He was treated disgracefully by the club. Talk about a revision of history. However, we know the scousers are the best in class when it comes to that.

The point still remains though that the vast majority of their fan base is not from Liverpool or even Merseyside, but they just need to belong to something and be different, basically they are an insecure bunch of needy bell ends
