Someone needs to tell him if he's worried living in the UK is affecting his relationship with his fiancee; she's not the one.
 
He was all ready to sign a new contract last week and was looking for a new house in Manchester.

Now this.

God I can't wait for the window to shut.

He’s taking bollox to wind up and try and upset City fans Andy to get clicks and it’s working reading some of these comments on here. If Sorano says he’s staying then he’s staying. I think I’d rather believe him then Duncan fuckin Castles

PSG are a very attractive football team, Paris, Messi, Neymar, farmers league etc.

Can’t see us accepting a cash bid for him though as we don’t have a replacement to use it on.

Willing to lose credibility and damage his reputation just to piss of some city fans… I doubt it.

I can promise you most of them don’t. I know 2 pretty well known journalists that have no connections what so ever and basically make stuff up. They’re good guys and good writers and if they do it then lots of others do too

His story wasn't that Bernardo was leaving anyway - literally that City rejected a sub par offer. This is entirely consistent with Soriano saying he’s staying.

The main issue that people have is that this story, whether true or not, has emanated from Bernardo's agent's de facto voice in the media. It's unnecessary as everyone knows the situation - teams needed to hit the valuation and City need a replacement lined up. The twerking is untoward

Even if he got it directly from Mendes, and quoted it word for word, doesn't necessarily maje it true either. Last week of the window, if an agent thinks he can get a buying club to the table by putting it out there that other clubs are pushing, via a journalist, there is no fallback to it.

Bernardo supposedly likes Barcelona so much is ready to go. He can end.up there in a year, maybe even 6 months, the club won't stand in his way as lo g as Barcelona make the right offer. He says he is happy to stay here however, if no move happens. All of a sudden we are supposed to believe he would just move to PSG and write off both Barcelona that he supposedly wants and City where he says he is happy. Ok.
