Anybody been to Marrakesh? Considering a few days at the end of January, looks spectacular but slightly daunting.
we thought same mate, its €7 for a gyros they’re good tho!! its €7 for a can of koppaberg!!!Sounds like they are having tourists over. I stayed in two resorts in Kefalonia, Skala and lixouri both the same prices. It was about a euro a beer and 1.5 a cider in the supermarkets, about 8.50 a mousaka and 3 for a gyros im restaurants.
Currently in Portugal about 1.20 for a bottled beer here.
I was in Tunisia a couple of weeks before the terrorist attack at the Bardo museum where 24 died, put me off that region but good on you for going.Tunisia in May and gambia next December.
Might squeeze another trip to Turkey in summer next year
The cable car is a great trip..but if you want to go to the very top of Babadag the last part of ski lift wasn't running till after 1 o clock when we were there last month..Apparently they have built a cable car/ chair lift to the top of babadag 1700 ms .lots of good trips . sure you will enjoy it !
Been of there twice . Will definitely go back for a meal. The cable car is a great trip..but if you want to go to the very top of Babadag the last part of ski lift wasn't running till after 1 o clock when we were there last month..
Definitely worth a trip. Great views of the paragliders jumping off..plus a great cafe/bar there but it gets very busy..might be worth booking ahead if you want to eat there.
Gyros are the best, i had (At least) one every day i was there.we thought same mate, its €7 for a gyros they’re good tho!! its €7 for a can of koppaberg!!!
We booked the escape lounge mate .. depending on your flight times it was worth every penny I recommend it.Week in Lanza AI adults only during the World Cup.
Trying to decide if I should book a lounge if we're held up getting through it'll be a waste of money. I'll make a call nearer the time.
Was absolutely hammered when we were there.. beautiful views from the top..we walked up from where main lift stops...was knackered as it was a hard walk in the heat.Been of there twice . Will definitely go back for a meal.

Sounds worse than Rhylit’s dry so getting a beer other than your hotel or Riyadh is impossible
the square at night with food stalls is great. Would recommend staying in one of the western hotels just outside the walls and go in and out.
we stayed in a riyadh in the walls but walking home regularly followed back to pad. Had to square up to a ducker one night .
very different culture which you need to respect , as well as booze women need to dress appropriately and cover up or get hassle .
a very frustrating experience I would never go back.
Is the Club 92 still going?Long weekend in Kirby Lonsdale in September then off to Fuengirola for a week, out there for the Wolves game if anyone out there
Off to Skala on the 15th September discovered it two years ago , this is the 4th tripWe've just been to Kefalonia and were paying 3-3.50 euros for a mythos. Averaged about 35 euros for meal with wine for two.

was looking at it however we didnt go in the end, think your ok ouside of the city wall for booze, they have rooftop bars, beer can be bought in supermarkets but the tax is high, advised not to go at Ramadan as the locals come out at sunset and let their steam off and can get a bit naughtyAnybody been to Marrakesh?
