Just to expand on the Delooney tweets above and for posterity's sake the thread needs the tweets below.
Simply, not only is he banging the sportswashing drum again he is also claiming that City are the biggest sportswashing project in history. Now that is some claim :)

You missed the one where Lineker reminds miggsy who it is he works for.

I remember back in the day Jack Charlton saying that he'd kick any skilful opponent early on and they'd invariably stay away from him for the rest of the game. the one exception was Buzzer who was the only one who kept coming back at him all game.

Delaney never replies to it. He's very selective in his replies. He'll also never address his lack of coverage of 'sportwashing' that's has taken place at Arsenal, Chelsea, Milan, Madrid etc who openly promote the Emirates. He's a bad faith reporter.
 
Delaney being shown up for the hypocrite and coward that he is for refusing to address Linekars point.

One of his justifications for going to Qatars World Cup is effectively that he will be calling out the bad things he may see. This from a man whose too scared to question his own employers in the UK!!

I am not saying that our owners should not be questioned but this man clearly has an an agenda which he’s not clever or brave enough to hide.
