Premier League Games 3/4 Sept '22

The reasoning behind that Rag winner being allowed to stand was VAR was going to be favoring the attacking player when an attacker/defender are not separated by clear day light.

So you think far enough common sense at last.

Then today they can not even draw the fucking lines

And disallow a cracking Goal.

It was offside.
Do want a goal allowed when it is offside ?
Then that would be bent would it not ?

Easy on the Eye Brighton.

Graham Potter plays the kind of football we enjoy.

Pretty sure he will get a crack at a big Club one day.

You can see what is going to happen now, can't you? A tight off-side decision in Leicester's favour, a goal and a complete football world meltdown. Bring it on :)

If the disallowed Brighton 'goal' had been against City, I'd still be pissed off that the game had been denied a great moment.

I go to watch football, not sit around waiting for nit-pickers to search for any reason to disallow goals.

VAR should be scrapped. It's sucked the life out of the game.
Yeah I do agree with that.

I don’t mind human error too much because they still got the vast majority of decisions correct without VAR. Football is about goals, and while to the letter of the law that Brighton goal was correctly chalked off for offside. If the linesman had seen it with his eyes at full speed and he disallowed it, fair enough; if he missed it, it’s not the end of the world.

I think VAR shouldn’t be allowed to be used for goals. It should be for penalties or red cards only for me.

Celebrating goals and the game in general, isn’t as special as it was pre-VAR.

It’s not VAR, it’s the muppets using it.

Any one of us could have used the technology and given the goal that was chalked off.
I use it as an encompassing term for the officials that run it, as do most I would assume

Did anyone notice the half time dribble from Sky ?
Can United make it 4 in a row ? Then again probably more extraordinary than the Tarquins making it 6 on the bounce !!!

We've got to go for the Tarquins win we'll soon catch them up. We don't want the scum getting to giddy
I agree. This is September, not April. Anyway, last time I wanted the Old Toilet cultists to win, they lost 4 -0 to the Red Scouse. Which was towards the end of last season. Come on Tarquins
