I looked at the bbc live commentary re the 1st Napoli penalty.
It said the ball had been crossed into the Liverpool box but was blocked by Milner. The next comment was EH! It then made out it was a dubious call.
I went straight to the Telegraph live report who simply said it was a clear handball and therefore penalty.
Talk about bias!

Not really, just trying to be honest. If I had to pick, knowing what I do know, I’d go for Haaland. Not because I necessarily think he’s a better player when they’re both on top form. But because I have questions unanswered about Mbappe. Like why is he still fannying about in the French league at nearly 24 for example?

Because it’s his home, mostly.

He probably gets paid more than our squad put together to do so too.

I don’t think there’s a definitive right or wrong answer, but Mbappe has far more in his game than Haaland.

That’s not a sleight on Haaland as he’s a better preditory goal scorer.

Mbappe is akin to Messi, whereas Haaland is akin to CR37.

They are totally different players who would work well together. Mbappe is like Henry but Haaland is like Gerd Muller. Imagine them both in our front three.

Probably. But what I and more importantly Pep want, are players with a burning desire to become the best possible player they are capable of. Plodding away in a second rate league because it’s home and they pay the most money makes me question if he is that type of player. But yeah, I wouldn’t turn my nose up at finding out if the opportunity arose.
