Yep and vast majority picked Haaland and they was before any of us had any clue he was coming. I’m afraid you are talking utter codswallop @Alan Harper's Tash
I voted Haaland, I remember that much, but then again, and I say this without any kind of ITK knowledge other than it made the most sense in so many ways, I “knew” he was coming here.

Have you been to Brighton’s ground mate? If you have you’ll know that the logistics of getting a ground full of people back to Brighton town centre without trains is on a different planet to City’s set up.

I have it's about a hour and bit drive straight to the horse racing ground than a free bus to the ground. Piece of piss lol.

Normally at the Etihad I would still be sat in the blue carpark for an hour and a bit ;)

Seriously without public transport the ground is awkward to get to.

How many games have you watched in it?
Honestly Alan quite a few over the years, not so many recently. Was mainly when Monaco had a great team with Mbappe, Bernardo, Fabhino and that fella at left back. That team that knocked us out of CL were fantastic and provided real competition to PSG but of course all their best players left. It looks a bit more competitive this season and just like the Premier League there’s good and poor teams, I think PSG will have a good CL campaign, they have cleared a lot of dead wood and are looking the real deal.

F*ck me, Klopp’s got some nerve to come out with this after all the decisions LiVARpool have got in their favour since he became Liverpool Manager. The hypocrite, obsessed tw@t!

“I don’t have any problems with anyone from City. They deserved it just as much as we deserved it,” he told Sport 1.

“What comes up in a moment like that: a few things happened over the season when a few things went against us, so I was thinking on the day: Let’s hope it won’t be decisive in the end.

“And then you forget about it again and don’t think about it. There were really blatant refereeing decisions. You keep thinking, what went in our favour?

“Completely without club glasses. We were lucky once not to get a penalty against us. But we were already leading 2-0. Otherwise – nothing.

“And against us? Clear handball penalties, penalties not given. Clear red cards not given against us, so for the opponent. That comes up at this moment. It’s human to think for a moment. But I don’t carry that around for long.

“No matter how Manchester City get the result, I accepted it – it’s deserved. And the other way round quite the same.

“And I can say: today I would be sitting here and wouldn’t feel one bit different if I had become champion and won the Champions League for a second time.”

Why is he bring this up now ?

Both world class players but I'd have a weird monster over a narcissistic utter **** any day of the week.

Because it’s his home, mostly.

He probably gets paid more than our squad put together to do so too.

I don’t think there’s a definitive right or wrong answer, but Mbappe has far more in his game than Haaland.

That’s not a sleight on Haaland as he’s a better preditory goal scorer.

Mbappe is akin to Messi, whereas Haaland is akin to CR37.
What's that shit Alan, go stand on the naughty step!

Lol, so you saw 2 games that Monaco played against us when he was 17.

Neither were in the French league.

You’ve not read my reply properly, I said I’d watched quite a lot but not recently. It was always the Saturday evening games on my foreign satellite. Mrs H went out with the girls and I used to watch, Spanish, Italian or French games depending on the kick off times and who was playing. Saw quite a bit of Monaco, Lyon, PSG. I’ve not been able to watch since 2019 due to having to look after my Dad so can’t say I’ve seen many games last three years. My situation has changed now but I’ll probably watch the Spanish and Italian matches over French games but catch a few. Nice/Brest is the fixture to look out for.

Indeed. It’s what makes SWP better than Zidane too.
You've really decided to die on this hill haven't you?

For us, Haaland over Mbappe every day and twice on Sundays. I would have said the same before Haaland started breaking records for us by the way before you try laughing off yet another opinion that doesn't match yours.

I did as you fleetingly mentioned it and then went on to describe the Monaco side that played us, without any further reference to the French league.

You've then followed it up with a hybrid post half confirming that you haven’t watched it for most of the time Mbappe has been in it, so apologies if I didn’t believe your first post.

Always good to throw in a bit of humour at the end to show you know of a comedy game in said league.

Absolutely it‘s Haaland over Mbappe for the vast majority of City fans. He’s one of us. It doesn’t matter how good he is, he’s better than anyone else because he plays for god’s own club.

I haven’t decided to die on any hill. It is possible to disagree with you and put my side across. You might not agree with that, and that’s fine. I won’t die on a hill about it and neither will you.
