I don’t want to be insensitive about the Queen’s passing as I know it’s a very big deal for the people in UK but I do wonder, how much the people in Britain are involved with the Royal family and why does it matter so much to them?

I think everyone saying postponing the matches is no big deal should put their money where their mourning is and forfeit 10 days of the salary/wages/benefits to be donated to the many people and small businesses that will lose 10 days of revenue/wages/benefits.

It won’t go ahead … the England captain plays for Spurs and too many English players in contention to play. Also my sold season card tickets for the game has just been reinstated. Game is off. Queen Elizabeth the Great. RIP x

They shouldn’t be cancelling any sporting events , especially in the current climate.
This is peoples livelihoods and a lot of people will be depending on wages.

Whatever Spurs tickets are left - a few dozen seat exchange tickets - are still showing for sale on the planner so it looks like a decision hasn’t been made yet. Not sure why yours were sold and are now “unsold” though

Don’t think people realise the magnitude of what’s happened today . We are now in unknown territory as a country so I’d be shell shocked if any sporting events go ahead in this country at the weekend . As for my humble opinion well if the gane is cancelled it’s not the end of the world is it .

Of course there is magnitude to it. This is a massively historic event.

I would be amazed if on hearing the news the Queen had died anyone would say "who is that? I've never heard of her".

Like it or not she is a world renowned figure and given how Britain acts around the Royal Family I don't understand the surprise that sporting events are likely to be postponed.
