Absolutely. Thousands of people die every day. The fact we are even considering postponing games because one person has died says everything about class divisions in our society.

Why is her life more important than anyone else’s? Why is one persons life worth more than someone less privileged? If people want to miss the game out of respect for her let them make that individual choice, they can put their seats on ticket exchange, but don’t tell people who want to go to a game that they can’t. I bet they don’t cancel fucking work on Monday

Personally don't mind if it's postponed. We have Walker, Stones and Laporte all likely injured, plus Gomez and Akanji are unfamiliar with our defensive system. They have no significant injuries at this time. If we play them later in the season hopefully we will have our injured players fully fit and our new signings more familiar with our system.

I think all games will be cancelled because of policing issues, with them being needed for all the gatherings/tributes that will be going on this weekend.

It won’t have a big effect on most people, there’s no magnitude to it, one privileged monarch replaced by another. Charlie boy was still having an affair with Camilla when he married Di. His brother is a nonce and their Dad wasn’t the paragon of virtue. Love your family and friends but don’t waste your emotions on people of dubious reputation.

Come off it. It’s one of the biggest historical events in the last 50 years. ‘No magnitude to it’ is a bit of an understatement.

She had everything to do with the UK though and has been an integral part of British society, so as expected that might effect British football matches/ things going on in the UK.

Parliament and government has basically shut down - that alone effects football
