Those saying we dont cancel things, that’s your opinion, but this is what sets us apart from most other countries in the world, tradition and history, you may not like it but take that away and we end up like America. These things don’t happen often so giving up a few hours of your life on Saturday is that too much to ask? Spurs can be fitted in later on in the season. Sometimes things are bigger than sport.
"giving up a few hours of your life on Saturday is that too much to ask?" Yes it is too much to ask because it's being forced upon us in what is supposed to be a democracy. How is giving up a few hours of our life paying respect? Please explain. We can pay respect in other ways.

Any idea what happens with tickets sold on ticket exchange? Couldn’t make it this weekend but I guess whoever bought my ticket will still have it for the rescheduled match?
My son sold his due to work commitments but it is his season ticket so he wants to go to rescheduled match. My guess all the tickets exchanged will be refunded.

I don’t want to be mean but Your countries’ history is not something to be extremely proud of just like America’s.

Spurs being a 'big' club means City will pay you out when you list it, sale or no sale.

You'll not get the money for 45 days after the match mind you.
I sold my ticket through the exchange as I am away on holiday. If the game is rescheduled will I get it back ?

The Queen isn't more important to me than City. I'd imagine that's the case for thousands of others.

And given that times are hard, not just for people but for businesses, I can't imagine many refunds are going to be handed out by hotel chains, train companies, etc. in the event that the game is postponed.

So what are we all supposed to do? If you want to stay at home and mourn HM then that's fine but the rest of us want to crack on.
Nobody here wants to stay at home and cry over someone they haven't met. Fucking baffling the amount of times that has been posted.

That doesn't mean I can't see or understand the significance of her death whilst also realising her death holds more importance to the world than when my Nan died.

Yes those who have hotels and travel booked will lose out but this is hardly a regular occurrence

Surely we should be celebrating a lady who lived to such a great age as 96 and not mourning.

2 minutes applause with the clubs putting on a big show before kickoff would surely be more apt than crying alone at home.

Crazy.
The Queen actually said that she would like people to celebrate her life when she passed.

Unfortunately pal the “me me me“ society we live in can’t see past their own selfishness, I do wonder sometimes what it would take for this country to come together. I reckon even if we declared war on Russia there’d be people saying I hope they don’t cancel the match! I’m sure all these people embraced the bank holiday we had off recently you know by probably going Into work and saying no no I don’t want it keep your triple time.

Any idea when a decision will be made? It’s already extremely short notice for those who have paid for flights/trains/hotels etc. Hopefully common sense will prevail, and the games will go ahead. The fact that they didn’t announce it last night, when they confirmed that today’s games would be postponed, makes me slightly optimistic.
If games go ahead it would be for logistical reasons with the already congested season. They’re not going to think about match-going fans and their financial costs.

How the fuck can anyone be this out of touch. Plenty of us gave up our bank holiday to earn a bit extra so we can pay our fucking bills.

But you crack on about "me, me, me society" because you definitely seem like your finger is on the fucking pulse.
