The British Monarchy

It’s obviously an emotive subject for him.

You've underestimated the time thinking about them though. There'll be conversations for a few days in pubs when money and stamps change.
Yeah, I meant in normal day to day lives before the Queen passed. I imagine it’s the only thing people are talking about there at the moment as it’s all people are talking about here.

Buckingham Palace said in a statement: "With the Queen's approval and agreement, the Duke of York's military affiliations and Royal patronages have been returned to the Queen.
"The Duke of York will continue not to undertake any public duties and is defending this case as a private citizen."
All Prince Andrew's roles have been returned to the Queen with immediate effect, and will be redistributed to other members of the Royal Family, a source said.
The issue had been widely discussed with the Royal Family, the source said.”

So to defend your lie about her "stripping him of everthing" you have posted a quote which uses several of his titles that weren't stripped.

Sums you up really. As does the fact that despite your quote about what the Queen would do, he is in fact still a Vice Admiral of the Royal Navy in September 2022.

Well, I’ve just been down to watch a public service in a local park with prayers and a town crier.

Whilst I think it’s all bonkers, it’s equally good and bad bonkers for me.

If you want to be pedantic about the word “everything” when she’s stripped him of all the titles that matter, she’s also not stripped him naked so you can use that argument.

No, it doesn’t.

OK,well put it this way,if somebody says something to me and I don't agree with it,I'll nod, then put my point of view on the subject,if the said person still continues to spout shite then I will tell them to do one,as has happened on here in all the years I've been on.

That guy in the video is entitled to his opinion,no probs at all with that, but no point in others saying he speaks for the majority, when the truth is he actually doesn't

I still can’t believe people come out of their homes to watch Morris dancing

Maybe he plays to lose to make sure the king keeps dying.
I always preferred draughts as you can move in lots of different directions and put the white piece on top of the black piece so it looks like a pint of draught Guinness and your opponent has to down a pint in one, hence the name.

In Ireland I believe they call it Stouts.

This is a different point though. You can have an opinion without caring too much about the subject.

As for your new points, I would offer my thoughts, I just can’t be arsed.

;-)

Good job you are not arsed, cause me and you have got along on here, and would hate for you to be another for me to say to you do one :)

And going back to your original point,if I didn't care about the said subject,I'd just say these simple words.........not interested mate, couldn't give a fuck pal

Depends if you keep it to yourself or not

Five minutes ago when I was putting the rubbish out I offered an opinion to my neighbour about how the new caretaker isn’t as diligent as his predecessor with changing over the skips when they’re full.

I can confirm it isn’t vital to my life.

Why bring it up to the neighbour then, must have been vitalish..................mind you the neighbour may have gone back in his house and said ,fuck me he's a moaning twat him next door

We‘re not all the same though, it’d be boring if we were.

What is the difference between him giving his opinion to social media and what we are doing here?

As long as people are civil, debate is healthy.

I think I can speak on behalf of all neighbours when I say don’t start offering opinions in passing haha

Charles was proclaimed King outside the local town hall today, I didn't go to watch but on way for petrol passed awful lot of people there.
It’s historic, that’s why. People want to experience new things.

Loads of people watched the Tour de France when it was here, I doubt many are cycling fans.
