Turns out that structuring your league so two teams and two teams only can financially benefit from broadcasting rights doesn't make for a particularly great global spectacle.
Its about time the PL made an official complaint to UEFA about the unprofessionalism of one of its own members.
They never backed us but now he is targeting the whole PL, its due a response.
Someone in power needs to tell some home truths about the corruption in his own league, tax fraud cases, Government bail outs and dodgy training ground sales, Barcelona inc now breaking the womens world transfer recird, call them pot kettle and black with the historical transfer spends of the top 2 esp Barcelona in recent seasons

The situation at Barcelona looks remarkably similar to that at Rangers prior to their liquidation in 2012. The club was sold in 2011 by David Murray to an (alleged multi-millionaire) Craig Whyte for £1. It turns out that Whyte didn't have two pennies to rub together and sold the rights to many years future season ticket income for £27 million to the loan sharks: Ticketus. This cash was used for day to day expenses rather than clearing the £18 million loan from Lloyds Bank or paying cash due to HM Revenue and Customs.
The deal that Barcelona have pulled off to allow them to confirm signings looks not dissimilar. They have borrowed against potential future revenue to register the players already signed.
We all know what happened to Rangers after the club was liquidated and had to restart as a new club in the Scottish 4th Tier. It took them four years to get back to the Scottish Premier League, with two seasons in the Championship.
The thing with borrowing from Peter to pay Paul is nobody knows what the future holds, also it's a down hill ride paying back more every year, asset stripping will only end one way with nothing else to sell

There are obviously more qualified people on here then me when it comes to the intricacies of football clubs and how they are financed. And it’s plain has the nose on your face that there is a lot of corruption going on. Real Madrid can sanction a new stadium (basically a wrap around and reduced capacity) and then Barca saying a refurbishment of theirs to the tune of £1.2 billion and not honoring contracts( why would Bernardo even contemplate that). Rags in debt and so on.

I don't know exactly what he's said because of translations etc, but f365 has quotes where he mentions City. Link below, plus the quote for anyone who doesn't actually want to click their link...

If he's genuinely said this it shows how clueless he is and that he's after us regardless of little things like facts.
