Rules for test matches need changing another 30 mins that game is over!

This series has been ridiculous, especially these last 2 tests.
Test cricket is fast becoming a series of 40 over innings.
It can't be good for the game

I can see test match tickets costing more for days 1 and 2 to maximise income moving forwards.

In the county championship all September games start at 1030, it only becomes an issue if it is a one day game which makes it unfair, not a 4 or 5 day game where both sides will get it.

Surely the length doesn’t matter? If we weren’t getting many results, I’d be with you and say we need longer to complete more matches.

Teams can’t bat for very long anymore, so games a naturally shorter.

What would the benefit of changing it to 4 day tests?

Would be better if the draw was an option and something teams could play for if under the cosh like with footy it makes the game more interesting !

Totally get your point, but the powers that be would want as many results as possible. 5 days allows for bad weather too.
