Chelsea-Liverpool, United-Leeds, Brighton-Palace all off, rest of the games on (pg 128)

Brighton-Palace was already called off due to the train strikes, which funnily enough are no longer happening.

Surprised they didn't put it back on with 9/10 days notice.

Yes, though I suspect Brighton may be one of the forces that get drafted into London.

London games, and i suspect some others, will be largely affected by police availability this weekend, i'm afraid

They can call football off with just a couple of days notice when we all have our travel booked but they cant put the game back on With far more notice. It’s a local derby - anyone nearby could still go and anyone at a distance has already booked their travel ages ago and lost out probably financially. Anyway, who gives a shit about the fans - certainly not the Premier a league

The police have been drafted into london from down here

Finish this season at the end of June and start next season a bit later.

No football in Summer 2023 anyway.

Ignoring tribal rivalry for a moment. Rags v Leeds is no longer about local fans travelling 40 miles. Many fans will have booked time off work, trains and hotels, coach companies refused other bookings because a supporters club booked them months ago, all will be left out of pocket and yet, none of the aforementioned have a scooby what will happen in 6 days time. That is not right. Yes we might laugh its the rags, it's Leeds, but it is wrong.
Can a) no one make a decision and b) when it's made compensate the fans, you, the PL. make fucking millions. Stop treating us like shite.

I absolutely get that this is a football forum and as such all events will be seen through that lens. But some of the stuff posted about all this would be better suited to RAWK. The funeral on Sunday is going to be the biggest event in this country ever. Every head of state in the world will be there, it is a huge terrorist risk, and that’s before you factor in the many millions of grief tourists and Londoners attending. As a policing operation it is unparalleled in the history of the UK and they’ve got one week. Yet people seem to expect the playing or not of certain football matches to be the priority. I am genuinely sorry for people who get inconvenienced or frustrated at a lack of news, but some perspective is needed.

What about the Queen’s funeral on Monday? I reckon that’ll be even bigger. ;-)
