I’m In Barcelona 10th OctoberBarcelona next week when international break then Thailand when the World Cup is on
TUI are wank.Im off to Mexico in a couple of weeks with TUI.
I have looked on Skyscanner at my flight and not once this year has it took off on its designated departure slot.
The average is a 1hr 41 m delay.
This is a 9.5hr flight I dont want to be sat on the tarmac for 2hrs before this length of flight it will piss me right off.
Does anyone know if this will be the case or will I be waiting in departures.
@Two Gun Bob is your man for this answer....................If you have a spare 30 mins :-)Benidorm next week 54 and never been am I in for a treat?
Funny, we had a scouse family in front of us going to Turkey, pretty much a scouse version of Shameless, all with something physically odd about them, along with the usual letting everyone know they’re from Liverpoooooooooool, and they’re also dead funny, orange tan for the girls, and all with one front tooth bigger than the other, but there was one in the party who actually looked and acted quite “normal”, pretty quiet and seemed like a nice lad, something me and my girlfriend both commented on, but then he turned round and looked at us, one eye had gone shopping , the other coming back with the change, bog-eyed to fuck, don’t know how I contained myself. It's going to be a long flight. Scousers next to me and a baby in front.....help.

Thats what Im starting to think.TUI are wank.
Never had a problem with TUI in over 45 years of happy travel. I understand that it can be subjective but speak as you find. Couple of small glitches in the last few covidial years which were all dealt with in tip top fashion.Thats what Im starting to think.
Blimey did you write that post in your tui uniform?Never had a problem with TUI in over 45 years of happy travel. I understand that it can be subjective but speak as you find. Couple of small glitches in the last few covidial years which were all dealt with in tip top fashion.
Cancelled flight from Greece and put up in a nice 4 star hotel all inclusive, flying home the following day. Claimed flight delay and they paid out £800 in under 4 weeks for a holiday costing £500.
Booking during pandemic also cancelled and received heavy discount of a next holiday. Many decades back we had a Mexican helicopter ride fully refunded as the overseas operator grouped another couple in with us, so they apologized and in addition discounted another holiday.
I could go on and on but that's unlike me so I won't, except to say that TUI offer tremendous value for money holidays if you're flexible with travel planning, as do the chaps down at Jet2, but of the two bone-fide operators I prefer TUI for their sheer VFM although the 23k luggage from Jet 2 is a godsend. I also think Jet2 flights appear to run more on time. We did have a problem with TUI back at Easter with no one to greet and dock our craft but that was down to Manchester Airports chaos rather than our operator.
For long haul travel the TUI Dream Liners are the dogs bollocks of avionic transportation with ambient mood lighting to relax invigorate and reduce stress levels associated with distance travel. Your body clocks more in tune as the plane features high-spec systems that mimic things like dawn and dusk, so altogether beyond the clever.
I like looking out the window at the incredible views made all the more possible with their 33% extra dimension windows to take in that glorious scenery. It's also ultra fast flying at just under 700 mph and you wouldn't think it so with the quietness of their ge-nx engines.
Their onboard TV is very good as are their meals and complimentary drinks service of which they never hold back on. As well as the drink with our in flight meal many a time they have served us another 3 gin and tonics each and never even balked.
It's sad that we are now reduced down to 2 tour operators offering the package deals and so long may they continue to do so. Nobody gets it right all the time but when they do it's a joy to behold. Somewhat sad with the demise of the TUI rep. Maybe a cost cutting exercise now be continued.
