Queen Elizabeth II

I wonder which member of the PR team happened to let the BBC know Team Beckham was there...?

It's got him the publicity he wanted in a week the media has been dominated by mourning the former monarch.

He's a ****.
Don't be daft, it would have been one of the people around him in the crowd.

I’m surprised that anyone could be surprised that the coffin might have been empty.

If a corpse isn’t kept on ice it ballon’s up with expanding gasses, generally rots and stinks to high heavens.
If anyone doesn’t believe that then they should throw a fresh chicken into the boot of their car and leave it there for a week.

Empty coffin / corpse on ice. It would be indecent to do otherwise.
What’s not to know about that?
You clearly don't work in a funeral parlour.

We had radio 5 on all night at work on Thursday. It seems like 90% of the BBC workforce has been deployed on queue duty, hunting out anybody with a story to tell. And many who don’t . He really wouldn’t have been that hard to spot.

The bloke queued up to pay his respects to a woman he had met more times than anyone else in that queue. No issues.
I think people are questioning his motivation as Beckham has been seen to make decisions to bolster his PR in the past.

Its a boy who cried Wolf kind of thing.

He may well be genuine this time, but his past makes some question if he is or not.

Couldn't have put it better.
