Liz Truss

She's got 2 years or less to get the country levelled-up.
She's going to have no money whatsoever to level-up with.
Labour can pick up plenty of sticks to beat her with when the election comes, as I fear that everything is going to get a hell of a lot worse very, very soon.

The far right takeover of the party has not helped her, she doesn't have that voice of reason who is able to tell her the truth. Only knuckle heads banging their fists and demanding that she dances to there tune. I dread to think what will be left in 2 years time when the public gets the opportunity to kick her out.

a note on the desk?

She just said that she is prepared to be unpopular , it is going to be a hard winter , still no windfall tax , woukd not say tax payers would pay for it , it is gov money not tax payers money

Who knew !

Ha - does she actually think she was popular - lowest level of support on record within her own Parliamentary Party - I said before Johnson got the job I said that he would never last the course because he was not universally liked in his own Party - as she seemed to be liked even less can't see her going the distance either.

How much did it cost the BBC to interview her at the top of the empire state building? Ridiculous

I suspect they decide on the location ( therefore we pay for it ) and go for the one they think makes their leader look best. Then the broadcasters have a time slot to come in and listen to lies and evasion.

Truss not asked by the BBC's Chris Mason about their failure to deliver on the promised trade deal with the USA. Instead, he repackages her rambling answer on difficult decisions into a convenient soundbite. Dreadful. On body language, if she's going to insist on standing with her arms like that, I hope someone is going to wind wool around them.
