For us middle aged or older..try it. Top tip cross the feet, arms out front.

I forget the name but my dr gave me a load of excersise, including this one , to do for better balance and improve my back , unfortunately most of them cause agony , sometimes i can stand ok but other days it is a hand down and push jobby
 
Yes I can.
Another test of the middle aged is how long can you stand on one leg.
Two minutes is good.
Apparently it denotes your balance, muscle tone (are you a slob) and a pointer to length of life.

Apparently a few sessions of yoga and it becomes very easy..must be the pants
 
It’s one of the things my PT gets me doing during HIT, with weights and use only 1 leg - my balance is shit which makes it quite hard for me.

Trick is to slowly go down again, that’s where it starts to get you after reps - normally about 10-15, switch legs and do another 10-15. Repeat x3 and it burns me like fuck on the third set.
