Part evil - part stupid. Some of them really do think the UK is not diminishing in any way and the world is mostly subservient to us and our wishes,

She’s worse than that really.
At at least a couple of points in her political career - when she was a Lib-Dem- she took a really quite left-wing attitude, particularly to the monarchy which she wanted to abolish, and of course, her heartfelt appeal for the country to vote remain in the referendum because she wanted the best for her daughters because it made total sense for her and the nation.
Having had those sentiments and convictions, to then do a complete 180 degree turn and deny everything she stood for, and to now consider what she is currently engaged in is the best for this country, makes her, in my view a liar and an opportunist of the worst kind.
Evil is a fairly abstract concept and contains many variations and interpretations, but what she is doing has no ambiguity.
