Why would joining the S.M need a referendum ?Maybe they are hoping that once they have the reins, they can move to joining the single market and customs union.
Yet another referendum ;)

Surely nobody would ...C'mon Kaz, you're a woman of the world.
if leaving was such a bad idea then why wont Labour use re joining as a election winner? with the mess the tories are making of the country at present then a pledge to rejoin will 100% be a election winner
I watched very little of the leadership debates - but the bits i saw suggested to me this is exactly what she would be like. Wooden, vapid, uninspiring. It was so predictable - as was the fact that as soon as the right wing press picked a favourite that person would win.She is so bad , how the fuck has she got where she is
Takes all sorts.Surely nobody would ...
That’s the impression she gives alright. It really comes across as her parroting what she’s been told to say with no idea of where the original instructions are coming from.Listening to her words this morning, sounded like she’s a puppet for a puppet.

I dont understand why people say starmer musnt get in because he is boring but back this robot who cant go off script without saying something stupid or insulting heads of statesI watched very little of the leadership debates - but the bits i saw suggested to me this is exactly what she would be like. They didn't so much as pick out Truss as a winner - just decided they didn't like Rishy. And tory voters just did what they were told and voted her in despite glaring evidence that she is totally unsuited to debate and any kind of presenting where there will be challenge. She got to where she did with photo ops, loyalty to BJ and courting the right wing press behind the scenes.
Consent will only be necessary in Tory seats or in Tory marginals. Not so much up north…..The fracking is an issue down my way ish , nobody is giving their consent so she wont get it going , very naive of her to go down the consent route , or she is lying and will just do it anyway

It's the left that would prefer the Tories to Starmer, Starmer has already won the middle ground its people from his own party who want him out.
You really do need to sit in a darkened room with a bottle of whisky and contemplate why it is you get so much wrong about almost everything.
My mate adam is convinced his election slogan should be simply "Keep it calmer with Starmer". Think that's piss funny.A boring government sounds good to me.
She also got in because she reminded the befuddled Tory membership of Thatcher who they still revere. Truss is as spiteful, condescending, right wing and cruel as Thatcher but ( and I hate to admit this ) nowhere near as bright. We literally have the worst of the worst and following on from Bozo that’s saying something.I watched very little of the leadership debates - but the bits i saw suggested to me this is exactly what she would be like. There is none so blind as those that cannot see.
Think that's a 'will not' rather than a 'cannot'. Means something very different. Just saying. There is none so blind as those that cannot see.
Ha, ha. I know just the place to put your white stick. There is none so blind as those that cannot see.
Maybe Rory Stewart but more to the point and correct me if I’m wrong but I think you are generally a supporter of the current government, who do you think should be leading the party and the country. And why?Considering that we will still have a Tory govt for the next 2 years who would the members of BM like to see as the next PM?
