The Conservative Party

For anyone who does understand the impact of this if true, this is a monumental clusterfuck the likes of which I can't recall.
True - I can only assume that over the last few days they have agreed a number of things internally where someone else will basically be calling the shots and LT had to accept of face revolt.

How much further down the the pyramid of novice Tory MP’s will we go to get members of the cabinet, before the whole stinking edifice collapses upon itself?

I have to admit I'm getting immense amounts of satisfaction from knowing how much this is going to hurt Kwarteng.

He had all the money anyone could ever want, he went into politics for status and respect and he's leaving Downing Street as the second shortest serving chancellor in history, having had his economic policy absolutely destroyed by the markets, the BoE and the IMF and all that Etonion pride and hubris and faux genius he cultivated by parading around his PHD in economics and refusing to engage in proper discussion about his policies because he's right and he doesn't need to explain why has been exposed for what it is.

Liz Truss has tattooed LOSER across this man's forehead and all his mates in the City will laugh behind his back for the rest of his life about it.

He got the job because he was one of her supporters and that is how he gets rewarded. Truss must have approved his budget but now in a forlorn effort to save face she has shit all over him.

The budget he implemented was the budget she was espousing in her leadership campaign, the result was the result Sunak warned her about. How she can shift blame is beyond belief.

The one thing that a new Prime Minister must do is to unite the party and provide stability and focus. I know they have taken action in regard to the energy crisis but this is the only thing they have been able to point to. Everything else has been an utter shitstorm.

For someone who tries to model herself on Thatcher she is making more U-Turns than a fecking Etch-a-Sketch

So where’s the no confidence vote? These lot have proven time and time and time again they are not fit to lead. Give us a bloody general election.

"We can't replace the PM whilst were at war!"

"BlunderTruss is destroying us get her out!"

Tory MPs

From sacking Kwartang to a full reshuffle is the rumour.
It looks more and more likely that the sacking is true, this is bad enough but to go for a full reshuffle would be huge. She can't possibly leave the country in a position where we leave Friday afternoon with no chancellor for the country, the markets would go into meltdown. The question is who would possibly want to take the job on? The only person I can think of that the markets would have any confidence in would be Sunak but would he want it? He certainly doesn't need the hassle of it all.

Why would he want his old job when he could very well have her job by this time next week?

Rumours she's chosen the reanimated corpse of Robert Maxwell to take over as chancellor to keep up with her Thatcher cosplay fantasy.
