Dortmund Away

Yep the extra 1000 was not taken, or if so a few hundred only. The sales were suspended for a week in effect too not allowing members to buy, maybe until too late for some.
I think they may have taken some of the 1000, the initial ticket details said we had 288 seats, they all showed up in day one and steadily dropped to sub 100 and then earlier this week before Cityzens were able to buy the seats jumped up to 400 available. So potentially 300 ish extra taken - Could be City messing about again though.

I haven't renewed my Cityzens the last 2 years since moving to Devon but was able to buy due to previous purchase history. Seats only available £58.50 for me.
So anyone could have bought a ticket if you had previous purchase history.

Apart from those who had Cityzen matchday memberships as @Impeccable One will attest to.

what are German police like? Do they treat away fans like the spanish and italian police or are they more civilised
They are the best of the lot.I think they have handled us the best of any games I’ve been to. Dortmund schalke moenchengladbach. Fans /people are great too bar the odd wanabee mib and a German Shepard soon put him in his place.

Go to amsterdam and get train to dusseldorf
Agree with that - last time we played Dortmund we flew to Schiphol, had a night in Amsterdam then got the train to Dortmund. Was pretty cheap and waiter service for beer on the train too !! Happy days

Catching the train into Dortmund on the day. Does anyone know if there'll be a decent away fans pub? Just wondering what time to get into town. Also are masks required anywhere in Germany now?
I think masks still mandatory on public transport and in public areas (was looking at a theatre website for something to do Wednesday night in Berlin, it said to wear masks in the foyer but don't have to wear them during the show). Seem also to want the "proper" ones (rather than cloth) but not wholly sure about that.

Thanks mate

Amsterdam flights are the best part of £500 as Liverpool play Ajax. Eindhoven is a better option at less than £200.
Oops my mistake . I was thinking things were like they used to be in the good old days pre covid. Who’d pay £500 to go to Amsterdam!

Has anyone found out if we can use our match tickets for train travel to and from Cologne?
You can if it’s on the day of the game
We fly to Cologne on the Monday will get the train to DDorf, gotta pay for that but it’s only 10euros or so

You can get a kombi ticket for free travel from cologne on matchday, you just add the barcode numbers to it and apparently you get free travel
