It's their oil, just like we've reclaimed our happy fish.Just one example, the UK government invested £16bn on future projects to help North Sea extraction companies.
Do you think Westminster just lets them keep it for the sake of good will?

How does this prick account for those EU member states with higher productivity than us whilst also having the WTD?

Ahem, Oil.We absolutely shafted you lot and we’re giving Scotland more than they put in to the UK‘a coffers.
It’s not remotely the same thing.
But thanks for the spuds :)
I’ll try to make this brief. It was actually the Liberal Party who was in charge and a Welshman as Prime Minister, before, up to, during and following the War for Independence.
Have you ever wondered why the U.K. needs to put more into Scotland than it gets out?
That deficit has only existed the last few years and most of it caused by debt interest applied to us from the Uk. Before that we contributed more than we took out. Not our fault that Westminster pissed the oil revenues up the wall. We will be fine thanks for caring. The relevance is you’re saying the same stuff the Brexit campaign did.
“We can be (this country), we can be (that country)”
Comparing countries that haven’t had decades wrapped within a union is stupid.
Just as comparing splitting a country in two, then comparing what’s left, with countries of a similar population is.
We know the UK government gives more to Scotland in public spending than they give to the UK government in the first place.
There will be a huge black hole come independence.

It was never going to happen all the way to Piccadilly. The plan to burrow underground under the city was always going to be ridiculously expensive and potentially hit historic mines. They should just cancel HS2 for me. I’ve yet to meet one person who is excited about it. It would save an absolute fortune.
Or Trident. I'd use HS2.They should just cancel HS2 for me. I’ve yet to meet one person who is excited about it. It would save an absolute fortune.
How much do you reckon a peak ticket would be?Or Trident. I'd use HS2.
It's fucking depressing and I'll admit this is really starting to get me down, and I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't have to worry about mortgage increases. What have they done to this country. Reports of 1 in 4 in food poverty. If you haven't got an household income of 40k you're in fuel poverty. Power cuts looming, cuts in healthcare and the cunts are trying to pass bills to make us work longer for no more money. Pensions are fucked, savings are fucked.Watching the news, the reports are the same on most of the channels with harrowing stories on how people are trying to just survive. The ITV news at 6.30 had a story about 3 or 4 people in the North East, but it could have been anywhere really.
All types of people are struggling, from young people, parents with young children, employed people and pensioners. The country is absolutely on its arse. What on earth do these Tory MP’s think when this is front and centre on all news channels-I’m alright jack so fuck you? How are they not thoroughly embarrassed by this shit?
One train every 4 hours if Avanti get the franchise! How much do you reckon a peak ticket would be?
I’m going £750 return.
How they still have the franchise is beyond me.One train every 4 hours if Avanti get the franchise!

What historic mines? I didn't think there were any workable seams between Bradford and Poynton. (O level Geography was a long time ago.)It was never going to happen all the way to Piccadilly. I flippantly said earlier this year that there will soon be Red Cross adverts on TV in other countries appealing for donations to help the poor people of the UK. It may sadly be right in the next 12-18 months as the people in this country are heading for a real struggle against what may already be a very difficult situation for some as it is now. The amount of people using charity of some sort to just get by is so wrong in such an apparently wealthy country. Where is all of that wealth? It's fucking depressing and I'll admit this is really starting to get me down, and I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't have to worry about mortgage increases. What have they done to this country. Reports of 1 in 4 in food poverty. If you haven't got an household income of 40k you're in fuel poverty. .The entertainment sector will be fucked the service sector will be fucked, health sector fucked.
Mental health will go through the roof and people will literally drop dead working. Despicable cunts and they don't give a fuck.
But it's fine cos the top 1 percent will be so much richer.
Who knows? Would you trust people drilling a 5m circle under your house? What historic mines? I didn't think there were any workable seams between Bradford and Poynton. (O level Geography was a long time ago.)
