Great imagery but as the saying goes some turds just won’t flushThing with it is Johnson was ousted by the PCP - the very Party you suggest he could lead. He is wanted back by the membership - the same batshit crazy membership that wanted Truss over Sunak.
If thats what is happening anyone can surely see how its all just swirling around the plug hole and heading down the drain. Its just not feasible.
Don't really have an understanding into politics/government so a question...
Is this likely to drag on for another couple of years until the general election?
I'd assume the Tories calling one early would be curtains for them, so therefore won't do that? Or can it be forced?
I would imagine the pressure to call one would force Tories to act within 2 years. They will struggle to hold together as a party and they will be better of dictating events than possibly losing an opposition led vote of no confidence. They can't go on like this and any new PM will still be on shaky ground. I suspect new PM will call one soonish.Don't really have an understanding into politics/government so a question...

We are committed to HS2.They should just cancel HS2 for me. I’ve yet to meet one person who is excited about it. It would save an absolute fortune.
Vote Hugh Grant!Wasn't Ronald Regan an actor?
Marjan Sarec is president of Slovenia?
Why not here?
Yet the previous poster suggested I was smoking something
That was the Cabinet? Who are those guys?Nope - thats the point - the Tories have no-one better - she is it - that is them - bereft of any talent - hollowed out by Johnson - did you see the Cabinet coming out of Number 10 yesterday?
It does mean that companies will expect far more hours to be worked or they will get rid of you.
Wait until the directive is removed and then let’s see what happens.Absolutely doesn’t in my experience.
How about, an M.P.s relatives are not allowed to work in their offices?Hunt wants departmental savings - here is my plan - MP's salary cut to £40k. Expenses restricted to £25k total. No 2nd home if the constituency is less than 60m from Westminster. Claims on 2nd home restricted to cheapest property - Capital Gains Tax levied on sale of property claimed for. Parliament begins work at 9.30 am - half hour recess for lunch - restarts then works through until 6pm.
Its only fair that they enter into the thing the same as we will have to.
What's David Lloyd George doing these days?Vote Hugh Grant!
You meab the crossrail project that has been beset with problems and is way over budget? You can't object to government spending on transport infrastructure in London (like Crossrail) then object to tunnelling under Manchester.
Geology may be different, but tunnelling techniques are sophisticated now.
