Yep and even if we did we can't stockpile 19/20 year olds from all over the world. Only the best can play for us now, and if we go out and buy someone we compensate other teams fairly for their development. Unfortunately De Laurentiis often puts a very unrealistic price on his assets due to being a lunatic but his team have a very good eye for a player.

.....and some players have a 6 or 12 month purple patch, where they look like world beaters, are proclaimed by the media and kids as the next Messi....then level off to be pretty average for the rest of their careers ;) .....not saying he's one of them, but could be.

True but the type of skillset he's showing can't be down to a hot streak. It's not like just a bunch of goals or anything. It's class on the ball, his vision, pace, passing skills. nose for goal, dribbling ability. When you have it, you have it. Only injuries, age, or complacency can eventually derail kids with these type of skills from being excellent footballers.
