But it's a Liverpool player and England player, and Dare point the finger at any Liverpool player

Bad day for the kick it out team, what is the point of having rules if they are only for fans

They are not only for fans they are for players as well. However, as we know Liverpool get the 'benefit of the doubt' 99.999% of the time and they know it also. If this would have involved any other team bar Liverpool the media coverage would have been considerable and sustained. It was Liverpool so it has been effectively ignored. They have the media in their pocket and use it to their full advantage. Why wouldn't you?

It’s easy for a club to throw this out by just telling the fa premier league unless you have 100% evidence and not just one players word this should be shut down immediately! What’s the they going to do? Yep no charges

Don't forget, a referee must send a player off for "using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or action(s)". The referee cannot have heard anything untoward, or he would have sent Henderson from the field. The allegation must have come from the Arsenal player to the referee, and the referee then reported what had been said to him to both managers.

Any player hearing the allegation made by the Arsenal player to the referee then relays the allegation to his teammates, and hence the reactions from Firminho, Allison etc.

Whether anyone else heard Henderson use racist or abusive language towards another player is unknown. However, it appears that nobody testified to this, and nothing was picked up by TV cameras.

On this basis, the FA really has no option other than to drop the charges against Henderson, because it is one person's word against another's. This isn't really a case of the FA succumbing to LFC pressure. Henderson at least knows what was actually said though.

I think you have confused my original post or I have certainly not understood the original reply or the context you quoted me and I don't understand the context of this reply either tbh lol?

I basically said the Yanks would have scousers for disrespecting the flag and national anthem, which is what you seem to be saying now?

At least that gives them an excuse. Still annoying though. I was at a Cave In gig at Club Academy last night and they were showing the football on TV in the union bar and of course they had Steve McManamanamanaman commenting on the Liverpool highlights.

Leeds have been ripe for years. Surprised it's not already happened. Stadium looks fairly easy to improve as well. Have a bit of heritage to boot. . . . well, more than Man City did.

a club formed over 20 years after City (from a club formed a decade after City) that have an all time average attendance nearly 5,000 lower than City's, who surpassed City's 2 league titles in the last year before the PL started and who've one FA Cup and one League Cup, with no European trophies of any significance have "more heritage" than City...

Whatever metric you use as a guide for "heritage" this bin dipping rat eater is clearly a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

25,000 less and i think Liverpool's highest attendance is 22,000 less than ours and unsuprisingly considerably less than Everton's highest attendance.

Liverpool’s highest attendance would not be in City’s top 20. We’ve had bigger average attendances than them lot when we had the likes of Pearce and Keegan in charge. We have never had attendances as low as they have achieved for a European cup tie.

They are fair weather supporters, Klopp has put together a very good side so they turn up. When the likes of Hodgson was at the helm and they were doing crap they weren’t that bothered about going. Will be interesting to see how full their expanded stadium will be if Klopp gets off in 2026 and they appoint another Hodgson or Rodgers.

I think it's rather telling that in the two liverpool matches I have watched since the "racism" incident, Henderson has, on numerous occasions, covered his mouth with his hand when he speaks angrily to the ref so that no cameras can lipread his words.

I know players do this quite a lot after the match when chatting and they notice a camera on them; not seen it done quite so much during a game. Like I said, rather telling IMO.

If Gabriel was adamant that he’s been called something racist, I would have expected Arsenal to come out and defend him robustly. Arteta isn’t shy in having digs at others.
 
Klopp fined £30,000 after being sent off in our game. It doesn't say anything about a touchline ban. Slap on the wrist for the wanker.

It's not unknown, the FA statement says that 6 players in the vicinity didn't hear anything, the referee didn't hear anything.

This entire thing is Gabriel thinking Henderson said something in a language Henderson doesn't even speak.
