Since the scousers state that we are guilty of failing FFP and should have been banned from playing in the CL, even though it was found there was no evidence to support UEFA's case, then I expect they think it acceptable that everyone believes Henderson is guilty of making a racist comment and the lack of evidence does not mean he is innocent. Well, that would be if we were as bitter and childish as they are.

Tonight is a huge game for the dippers. Their away form has been shocking and they only just beat Ajax in the home leg. Lose tonight and by more than one and they've lost the head-to-head advantage over Ajax and could well be out the following week. Napoli will have nothing to play for, but I'm sure their manager would still want to test the side at what is the most famous place in football on European nights*.

Would love to see them knocked into the Europa League!

I’d like to think this is all true & and mistake. I’m happier knowing that players aren’t racist & I’d hate for someone to be wrongly accused of it.

I agree mate but “apparently” the witnesses said they didn’t hear anything.

I remember hearing a league 1 player got found guilty even though the witness accounts were different & they had video evidence to show the witness was nowhere near the incident but he couldn’t prove he didn’t say it. Very different to this.

Nobody can say what happened as there wasn’t anybody within earshot. The only 2 who will know is the two players. Gabriel seem shocked at what was said, Henderson seemed embarrassed (personal opinion) but that doesn‘t mean anything was done wrong, just that nobody could confirm it.

The fall-out for me now is why we haven’t had endless, or even minor coverage of this from the media?
