Jude Bellingham

I imagine he would say yes to all the big teams though? Pep, Erling, wages and a strong English contingent would surely put us top of the list though?!
Just like Haaland imo, Bellingham comes to City for a few years then onto Spain
Both have age & time to not go straight to Spain

Wouldn't suprise me if it's already planned out for both of them

It certainly puts us in the running but top of the list there are too many variables.

I would also add 4 or 5 out of the last 6 titles when he is making his decision.

That has got to be huge for someone who has probably grown up watching the PL and dreaming about winning it one day.

All roads must lead back to his mum.

Same as Haaland, you convince the parents and you have them in the bag.

She never wavered, despite Ferguson even being wheeled out to give Jude a red carpet tour of the training ground.

I know for a fact Birmingham wanted Bellingham to go to United because they had offered double the fee Dortmund had presented.

It was £37m plus add-ons taking it to £50m.

Remind you of someone else?

It tells me Bellingham also has a clause at Dortmund which is nowhere near the valuation being touted.

I wouldn't go crazy for him either. I think he will blossom into one of the best of his kind around and he'll be a fantastic signing for anyone, but he's not the be all and end all. I'd happily take Declan Rice for the right money. I think he's fantastic and people seem to forget that he's also just 23. I expect he'll become more advanced when he signs for a better club than West Ham and won't just be a holding player as he is for them and Southgate's England. Guimares would be a fantastic signing too but genuinely seems to want to create a legacy at Newcastle and they obviously don't need the cash any more.

As our rivals I hope they don't sign him, but Bellingham is exactly what Liverpool's are missing right now. Klopp would help turn him into a ridiculous player if he stays around long enough.
Fuck Declan Rice.

Berger did mention a clause, in January when all the Liverpool noise was around on a German podcast . He said there was rumours around the club that Jude had a release clause of around 100 million euros. But he didn't say anything else after that as the noise went away. Berger is incredibly reliable for Dortmund news so if he says it its probably true.

Dortmund also want to keep the Bellingham family in their good books as they are really interested in his brother who's apparently more talented than Jude

Sure I read it’s €103m at moment that’s £88m

Both are 17 years old ?

Gut feeling only but I don’t see us signing him. Not against it by any means, be interesting to see just how good he could be in a team like ours but whereas I knew we’d get Haaland, it just seemed everything was lined up perfectly I’m not getting too many vibes that this one will go through.
There’s even less chance he goes to Liverpool so not all bad news.

A Gundogan replacement sounds nice but if Bernardo renews and we get an under study who is young and talented for far less it's a win-win situation

roughly what our transfer profit was in the summer then............. ;-)
Dortmund would be after near £100m as possible

City have the coin to go big up front more than anyone else & thats a big reason Dortmund would love to deal with us

No point Dortmund taking 100m over 4 years when they could receive a massive 1st instalment of let's say £70m in 1 clean swoop with another £15m at the end of the 22-23 season yes not the 100m they want but 85m within 12 months is better surely

They'd be incredibly stupid to take 85m in 12 months rather 100m over 4 years as with FFP they'd be able to book and spend £15m more in year 1.

The scousers all seem to think he is nailed on to go to them.....they are absolutely certain all over social media for the last 12 months...They believe its in the bag already.

Unlike with Haaland, we have no inside track on this as far as his agent(mother) whereas with Haaland we had the Alfie factor which must have helped somewhat.

His agent (mother) has been giving the scousers on social media info for the last 12 months

If we want him (which given Peps recent comments I think we do) then I'm pretty confident we can get him. If Bellingham has any sense there's no place he'd pick over us. We are constantly challenging for titles, we have the cash and we have Haaland and Pep. Why would he not want to come here?

Would love to have a player like Bellingham here. Work rate of Bernardo and goalscoring instincts of gundo but not as technically brilliant as both but only 19. Think he would be worth the investment of cash in the long run.

Great winning goal.

Determined drive into the box and a powerful shot past the keeper.

Growing into the complete midfielder.

After seeing the demise in Liverpool’s ageing midfield I’d say it’s crucial we sign this lad. Gundo is close to the end and Super Kev probs only got 2-3 top seasons left. Would love to see a future midfield three of Foden, Bellingham and Palmer.
