I think on this evidence we're going to have to chuck out Rishi for Ortega, I bet he could just about save the UK economy on this evidence!

A very entertaining game, we were the better side, just. Jack and Ortega very good and some youngsters got more experience. We certainly rode our luck at the back at times but we'll take the win. Another poachers goal for Alvarez. The only disappointments for me was Palmer, his progress seems to have totally stalled.

It was an excellent game, I can't think of a player who didn't play well.

Lewis was all over the place at times for me. That will come with experience but he is nowhere near ready for regular starts.

If we had lost tonight i would have tried to console myself that it’s an odd season and this comp is not a major priority etc etc

But really I would have irritated and it would have put a bit of a downer on things with the break coming up.
