Would have been nice if they emerged from the Tunnel wearing Rainbow Laces.And every Player having dyed his hair the Colour of the Rainbow.With the England Captain carrying a box of Dyed Doves to release in to the Skies over Qatar.Before the whole team sat down in the center Circle signing John Lennon Imagine.

Then walk back off the Pitch and refuse to play until Qatar sees the errors of its ways.

Would reduce Lineker to tears in his 7 star Hotel.

Ah. but he's only reporting and not supporting the WC. Can't imagine that a well-aimed boot to the crotch would bring Lineker to tears.

Going to probably end up with egg on my face here, but I was just thinking: this season could be amazing for English City fans.

Here is my thinking: we often struggle in World Cups because the Prem League is so intense our players are knackered in July. But this season, its happening now, whilst they are still pretty fresh.

But Haaland isn't there, so later in the Champions League, when many defenders he will be up against have done the world cup and the league season and will be running on empty, he will be well rested due to no World Cup.

England to win the WC, City to win the PL and the CL.....

I noticed that there are less and less male interviewers too.

Not a fan of hers - but she's gone iup considerably in my estimation. Shown some bravery - unlike all the men playing in and hanging on at this embarrassing farce.

Nice stadiums, but the Qatari people would prefer to watch horse/camel racing, should never have been played there

yeah even with that and even with Foden playing (he is literally one of our own unlike the other England players in our team), I still dont feel a connection the the England international team.

Sounds like there are too many stadiums and they are too big. Fewer smaller stadiums with a capacity of 25,000 each would probably have sufficed. It's such a waste of energy and resources. It's a shame.
