No matter who buys them they will only be as good as the infrastructure in place, for a start , they won’t be winning the league whilst Pep is in charge , I couldn’t give two shits who buys them tbh , battles are won on the pitch and not in the boardroom , we have an unrivalled infrastructure that has been ten years in the making , even United have to abide to FFP just like mega rich Newcastle do , we got in before the drawbridge closed thankfully, Chelsea’s owners have thrown obscene amounts of money at the team and they are dogshite , Ten Hag won’t win the league no matter how much they throw at , it’s a fact that has been staring their fans in the face , shit managers and poor player acquisition has been the problem and not the money that has been thrown at it, we overtook them years ago with a revenue nothing like what we have now, they may compete more but they won’t overtake us on the pitch for years to come - fuck them is what I say.

Not that the BBC or Sky are biased or anything but the top two headlines on BBC and SKY “News” involve this and Ronaldo!
They've spun the Ronaldo story to perfection again, as they do with all negative press over there

PR department putting in the overtime, albeit not particularly difficult work to get the thick red muppets back on side as any mention of a sale gets them firmly back on side

We had 35 years in the wilderness so I'd be happy with the same, I think that means they have 30 years to go?

I hope this is the case but they're in a stronger position than we were in 2008 and look at our success since.

Bizarely their fans seem to think Ronaldo s interview has forced the Glazer's to sell and are hailing him a hero.

They really take stupidity to another level - the most gullible fuckers in the world.

The media should be all over this and exposing it for what is is. The reason the Yanks bought Liverpool and the rags was to push through a European super league. Sheer fucking greed. Now that's dead In the water they don't want to know. They want to stop demonising our owners and give these wankers the shit they deserve. I guess Martin Samuel will be the only one to tell it how it is.

Their share price has shot up

Now who could have seen that coming ?

Obviously the Glazers are shit owners who are holding the club back according to Gary Chuckles, but they are nowhere near as fucking stupid as their fans !

Played by Ronaldo whilst the Glazers continue to take millions out of the coffers - could not happen to a bigger **** of a football club.

Like taking candy from a set of fuckwits. Their " fans" have to be the most gullible fuckers ever.

Buying an established brand for obscene money in a competitive league when you are no longer top dog makes zero financial sense.. look at what our owners paid 14 years ago and what Newcastles owners paid last year. The richest people in the world don’t buy established brands for billions when they can pump half the money into another team and create their own brand… why would they?

Chill… people.. more chance someone big comes in for West Ham and buys the London Stadium and starts afresh with the London pull at the fraction of the cost.

The driscoll brothers with bocey at the bar comes to mind, i wanna buy everyone in the pub a drink here's a pound and i want change. Surely someone can sort that vid and change the voices ;)

Who is paying the £6/7 billion required to buy them? There's not much growth left for them hundreds of millions if not another billion is needed to stop old Trafford and carrington from falling down in a strong breeze, complete overhaul of the people in charge is needed nd you've still got the lingering ghost of Fergie running the show that the fans wouldn't allow any new owner to send packing even if they wanted to.

Then on the pitch they're constantly spending more than anybody else already and are miles behind. There's no valid reason for anybody to buy them, I'm sceptical the glazers want to sell and even if they did sell there's nothing to suggest they'd improve, they could potentially get even worse. Fuck 'em.

Hell Leeds are a better buy than the rags and dippers..

The news that the rags and the scousers are both for sale demonstrates beyond any doubt that the long term vision of the respective American owners was always the super league, which would have been a monstrosity. The fact they are now bailing out means hopefully it is over for ever as an idea.
In terms of who buys either of them, it is an interesting proposition, as they are both hugely overpriced, with stadiums needing massive development, average or ageing squads, etc. The better long term investments are much cheaper clubs with huge room for improvement and growth, like we were, like Newcastle and arguably Leeds or Everton. I just hope that they both get bought by the very worst type of dodgy owners and we can happily watch the angst of the deluded and entitled glory hunters as they become ever more irrelevant.
