The caf seems to think they can use the Etihad if they do rebuilding works at the swamp.
It's council owned so city wouldn't get a say and the council couldn't refuse.
They really are thick.
Not true. Landlords have no right of entry etc.

Could may be happen if it was their council...but it's not is it?....it's in an adjacent councils demise with whom you have no fiscal relationship.

But they pay rates to Trafford borough Council not Manchester city council So they don't have any say

They are under Trafford Borough Council for a start , which has absolutely fuck all to do with Manchester City Council.

The cunts can share with Liverpool, MASSIVE fake rivals and all that
I think I am the only person who would be ok with them using our ground.
Under the terms of the lease we pay a flat fee to the council and get all the income from events, so as long as we charge them through the nose for the use I am OK with it.

I am thinking about a harry maguire a game (the the 80 million quid, not the actual waste of space player), so about 25 home games a season for a couple of years thats about 4 billion quid, seems reasonable

its very nearly football related (the rags nearly play football) so it would sort out FFP and we could afford the long talked about water slide

Nah, I hate the idea of doing those cuñts a favour.

No you are not the only one, I agree (but I didn't want to be the first to say it!). During the Second World War, City's rivals were unable to use their stadium in Old Trafford due to bomb damage. For a number of years, until Old Trafford could be restored United played their home games at Maine Road.

Now, bearing in mind the current Old Trafford looks like a bombs hit it (not to mention the fake bombs taped to toilet doors!) I think we should take pity on them - but as you say, only if they pay decent money for the privilege.

Fuck that. They can play at Hough End for all I care.

Know city if asked they’d say yes you can use the stadium! It’s what city have done all through our history given the rags a helping hand while they have shat on us and ridiculed us!

Yep and it's time it stopped.

Fuck them it's bad enough they use our name. No way should they rent our ground. But as a kind jester they could hire the academy stadium ;)

Never. Had to delete the following sentence several times before pressing the post reply button as to the reasons why not.
