It’s good having a liturgically correct wife. Christmastide begins on the eve of the celebration, so our tree goes up on 24th December.

Sadly, it stays until Feb 1st, the eve of Candlemas.

Pre-payment meter tariffs should have been a national scandal years ago.

It’s crazy that you pay more even though you pre-pay. It should be the other way around.
