CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

There is no evidence but as I alluded to in an earlier post it seems to me uefa had been covering up for one of their own and will now do anything they can to distance themselves.
You can understand them trying to avoid being linked with corruption (again) given their fairly recent history. If the Italians are pushing for charges against Juve and the former directors then it gives the perfect excuse for UEFA to back off.

With Rui Pinto bang to rights, the biggest Whodunnit in the whole affair is who doctored the City emails and why. You'd think there would be an investigative journalist somewhere in the world who'd be enquiring.
Given that Der Spiegel had (and still have presumably) the physical hard drives in their possession and that they're supposedly "investigative reporters", you'd imagine it wouldn't be too much of a struggle.

About as difficult as Merseyside Police tracking down who bricked the team coach I'd guess?

UEFA would announce an investigation which never took place.
You say that, but that actually has happened

City stopped cooperating with UEFA because someone at UEFA was leaking information to certain journalists, who kept reporting exactly what documents City were passing to UEFA These journalists had a close long established relationship with Rick Parry, former chief executive of Liverpool, so it was quite obvious where the press leaks were coming from
City then drew the line and refused to cooperate no further

After CAS, City made a formal complaint about the press leaks, UEFA then said their ethics committee would open an investigation
Parry left his post at UEFA to become head of the Football League and the investigation evaporated, never to be heard of again

Yes. That’s why I posted sarcastically.

Or Sam Lee friend of the Bluemoon podcast who had so much to say before the verdict. You’d think with his finger on the pulse & the fact he’d been made to look such a twat after his ramblings were found to be spoon fed propaganda.
Lee is a disrespectful motherfucker.
