Very sad and not looking good.

When my dad went into palliative care it was over pretty quickl but he died peacefully. That's all Pele's family can hope for now.

He scored the greatest overhead kick of all time with broken ribs against The Nazis

Makes me laugh when people compare him and Maradona as to who was the best. My reckoning was Maradona was lardy, cheating little shit stain of a drug addict who had a massive talent. Pele seemed a nice chap who had a massive talent. Guess who I would vote for.

Well they were both exceptional players, never saw either play but owing to the testament of others they were generational and left an indelible legacy. But Messi will go down as the greatest of all time.

Regardless, wretched news. Hopefully he's surrounded by loved ones when he passes.
