It's always been the same with English players. A couple of weeks ago Gary Neville was saying Foden walks in to the Brazil and France team. I swear the media in this country never learns from the countless times they've gone over the top with players in the past. No doubt Bellingham has talent and I'm sure he'll get better with the right coaching but the disparity between what he's actually shown so far and the way he's being talked about is ridiculous.

Yes but the opinion of Gary Neville as a legitimate pundit should tell you all you need to know.

That's why we never win any world cups, the players are simply not all good enough

Mr Tap In hedging his bets and saying we can't be ruled out because of the relationship Bellingham has with Haaland.

I don't think any of the 4 semi finalists are teams that have players that are 'all good enough' . I don't think there's a team in the world you could say that about. It's more about getting the best out of what you have. England have'nt done that for a long log time.

Argentina's defence would get spanked in the Premier League

I think Neville's opinion on Foden still holds up. However I doubt he'd be playing wide left for France. Brazil are a team of overrated showponies who think it's still 1982

Bellingham, Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao for next season will do.

What would be the point ?

One of our posters namely @B\connell\rag\dipperlover\misreablecunt thinks most of the City player are shite anyway .

Better to save the money and let him select the squad.
