Any idea on how them feral twats will line up?
They will play the Best XI available at the Time and we should do the sameAny idea on how them feral twats will line up?
You would hardly notice that Alvarez was playing tonight listening to the reports. Our players at the World Cup have been fairly anonymous.
Lack of form, past their best or just buggered from the intensity of the last few seasons?
Not expecting great things from them when they return.
Really? Ake i thought was very good, Bernardo and Dias seemed to perform pretty well. Julian has been superb and Foden, Walker and Stones all did really well. Rodri played CB for most of it and Laporte seemed to play well from what i saw.
Of the players i did really see, id say Kev and Gundo were the two that didnt play well, but i think there are bigger pictures with Belgium and Germany.
Yep most of our lads have played ok. Nice to see most getting an extra week's rest as well..i wasn't too fussed about england losing tbf..seemed about the right resultKev hasn’t looked his best for a while, even for us
Although he’s still capable of moments of magic as we’ve seen this season. He just seems to be lacking the consistency of a few years ago. Even pep has acknowledged he hasn’t been at his best. I’m not really sure why though.
It doesn’t really seem like he’s been enjoying playing for Belgium in recent times, and maybe the World Cup and the thought of the international duty there has been weighing on his mind. Maybe he will come back and feel like a weight has been lifted in a way and he can just get on with his club football.
We have seen enough this season that he still has the same quality though and can play balls that other people can’t, so maybe he just hasn’t been mentally there to be completely consistent, but I get the feeling we’re going to see him at his best more regularly ..
As for Gundo, yeah, I think that’s just simply a case of Germany being shite. As good a player as he may be, stylistically he’s not really the kind of player that’s going to stand out massively in a shit team.
Crying. They'd only play the victim card again.I'm dreaming of a blue Christmas,
Just like the ones we used to know,
With the blue flag flying,
And scousers dying,
To see City win the league,
And the Cup!
This will happen! Only way it does happen though is if a city fan gets their Liverpool supporting 'mates' a ticket. I have a few of those and there is no way I would do them a 'favour' and get them a ticket in our end! There's still 2000 tickets left, unfortunately they will be amongst us!Spoke to a Liverpool fan outside school today, says he has a ticket in the home sections, but says he won't make a murmur if they score. Can see there being one or two more dotted around tbqh
Does anyone know when the England players are back in training? I imagine the likes of Phillips and Grealish would be keen to play having hardly featured in Qatar. Presumably their fitness levels will be fine.Tricky one this, our England players and Alvarez obviously not available, some rusty without playing for a month and others probably still reeling from World Cup disappointment, I know some of this applies to the opposition, but their players in general haven’t been as involved in the World Cup as ours. Personally I want us to win because it is Liverpool, but part of me thinks if we need to keep the Champions League and Premier League challenges on track, something has to give. I would sacrifice the Carabao and FA Cup, but would prefer to survive one more round in both because of the opposition.
Pep gave players who were knocked out a weeks holiday from that date roughly so I'd imagine the likes of English & Portugal players will be back in training from Monday 18th.Does anyone know when the England players are back in training? Giving them 3/4 days training with main squad before Liverpool.
Laporte is currently in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, according to one of the local blues over there, so presumably he and Rodri won’t be involved v Girona but may be back ready for this onePep gave players who were knocked out a weeks holiday from that date roughly so I'd imagine the likes of English & Portugal players will be back in training from Monday 18th.
