Unpopular opinions

I have very little sympathy for people who chose to drip themselves up to the hilt with big mortgages and financed ridiculously priced vehicles who now face the effect of generally more realistic and normal interest rates. Almost 15 years of zero percent is not how life works
Somebody should have warned me it would all end. Why wasn't I told ?

Cocaine is the drug choice of dickheads. Turns already mouthy cunts into unbearable gobshites and ruins any get together/party
You only think that because the dickheads are acting like dickheads while on it.

What you don’t realise is the many others who are on it who aren’t acting like dickheads so you don’t notice they’re on it.

A lot of people don’t know how to take it neither. They think shovelling a load of it up their nose at once in fat lines like they do in films is the way to do it, when it’s not. That’s the equivalent of doing a yard of ale when you’re out on the piss…. no need for it.

As you get older you get more right wing. It will happen to you no matter how liberal you think you are now.
And there’s nothing wrong with that neither. It’s just a natural part of maturing and earning more money as some people go through life and the struggles you may have faced at 18 when you first go to uni start to become a distant memory.

And being more right-wing doesn’t mean that you’re a Tory. You can hold right-wing views and disagree with everything the current Tories do and say.

And being more right-wing doesn’t mean that you’re a racist. Even being anti-immigration doesn’t mean you’re a racist.

And being more right-wing doesn’t mean that you’re a ‘gammon’ (what a stupid word uttered by sad bastards that it!).

And being more right-wing doesn’t mean that you’re FAR right-wing (because too many on the left conflate those two things, much like the right conflate being left wing with being liberal).

It also doesn’t change anything about you as an individual if you’ve moved along the political spectrum to the right a bit.

I’d probably describe myself as just to the left of centre with some right-wing views these days. Whereas when I was 18 I was probably just to the right of being a socialist. I’d maybe even describe myself as apolitical or someone who lies somewhere along every point of the political spectrum depending on the point being talked about.
