Clarkson. Finished?

Because he is part of the bully culture that meg has to put up with , does he really hate her more than rose west or is he just joining the pile on of a woman who has done nothing wrong ?
I think she has brought it on herself. She's absolutely a victim narcissist, and you are going to shake up the money machine and make plenty of enemies at the same time. Like I said to Bill, if anyone hurts her then that is without question abhorrent, but she's chosen a divisive path. Don't expect people to think the way you do about it.

Clarksons always spouts shite. I'm sure he loves everyone being offended when he reads the comments in the morning.

I just want series 2 and 3 of the farm to pop up being the woke brigade get him "cancelled"

I don't see her (them) as any different/ worse than the Beckham's or Kardashians. All just grifters living their lives like open sores for cash. It does seem they (H&M) attract an extra level of hate and vitriol though.

Serious regret from the Sun?
I love how they've used their apology to tell us how great they are and all the wonderful things they do.
Absolute Wankers.

Wouldn't the UK be a kinder more tolerant country if the likes of Clarkson, Morgan, The Sun, The Daily Mail, Katy Hopkins, Farage all fucked off (not to Australia thanks)

Yeah but you gave us Murdoch so it's only right you take the dregs of his existence in return.

I quite like Clarkson. He's always been tongue in cheek with his column in the Sunday Times, and it's been funny as fuck at times.

I remember when his daughter took him to Stamford Bridge for his first ever live game of football which was against City, and he railed against us in his column. It was an amusing read, but some on here got precious and couldn't see the funny side of it.

Another column he wrote while enjoying lunch with Anne Robinson at the BBC was about a potential new programme called 'Sucker', the two of them thinking it would be hilarious to make a series about people who had been ripped off.

Before anyone gets aploplectic with rage, it was just a silly conversation between the two of them and it wasn't a serious discussion regarding a new show on TV.

Yeah, I don't mind a lighthearted way of looking at life. We've all taken the piss out of our friends over the years, and he's no different in that respect.

I couldn't give a toss what he wrote about the royal family.

That's because he's about as funny as bad toothache.
If ever there was an archetype privileged overweight opinionated mysoginistic snobcentric (too good for his Doncaster accent) racist bully, it's him.
He's even worse than Piers Morgan.
And that takes some doing.

I like him and I’ve always enjoyed Top Gear and his various other shows.

Never read his newspaper columns though and from what I’ve heard this Sun article went way too far.

Not clamouring for him to be “cancelled” though, as they say these days.

I like him and some of the documentary stuff was very good. Because you don't like his sense of humour don't dismiss some of his work. Dig out the 3 following and enjoy:-
The greatest raid
The story of the VC
Great Britons, IK Brunell

That Brunel documentary was brilliant, remember watching it years ago.

Possibly because they are so divisive. That's his thing, he stirs the pot but I just can't really accept it's absolute malice.

I find it strange that you are beholden to opinion. I can't really stand Clarkson myself, but that's how it works.. Why shouldn't he be able to say what he wants?
What a stupid fucking comment. Yes, why shouldn't he be able to say what he wants? Maybe because his "opinion piece" was nothing more than a vicious attack on a woman that has done nothing to warrant the hate she is receiving. There was nothing measured about it, no articulation as to why he hates someone, a young woman at that, on a "cellular level"; which normalises this behaviour for the ill-informed in this country to repeat and only serves to exacerbate hate and division. A gross, outdated misogynist spouts filth in a national newspaper, but it's ok because we should be able to say what we want.

"Teenage girls who are victims of cyber bullying need to just chin up and accept it, we can say what we want in this country."
