FIFA should really start considering holding the WCs on Winter. At least on the countries known to have high temperatures. I seriously believe that the reason this was one of the most entertaining WC's in history is the fact that the players were a lot more lively not having to fight extremely hot conditions.

That was probably as much to do with it not being at the end of a long season tbf, temperatures were still pretty high, something like 24C and humid too.
